Geeking out in 2010

Hope everyone is having a great start to 2010, hard to believe it's almost Spring!
We, at Urban Canvas, have been very busy. Art is life and life is art; Urban Canvas is definitely living it up!

Our lovely founder, L7, will be tearing it up in San Fran soon and spreading the Urban Canvas love.
We recently threw an awesome party at the Mountain Bar, The Big Trade Up.
Music, mayhem and swapping! (get your mind out of the gutter!) Swapping, as in trading items. A bartering show of sorts, our way of contributing to the green of our planet.



Right now we have something really geektacular going on! So get that geek gear ready and take your best geek shot! You could win original art from an Urban Canvas artist if you are the most geek-dreamy of them all!

Urban Canvas presents the annual Dia de los Muertos @ the Mountain Bar in Chinatown. A one day event to show us your best death face. We are accepting all work that uses death and/or Quinceanera aesthetics as a way to celebrate, revere and invoke our ancestors (or death itself).
